Comprehensive Training

Our training programs follow Washington State DSHS developed curriculums and DSHS approved continuing education.


  • Nursing Services involve a certified nurse visiting either your facility or home to deliver specific nursing care. These visits are scheduled in advance and include services like wound care, injections, IV maintenance, foley catheter care, as well as case management following an assessment of client needs and a review of the care plan.   • Nurse Delegation services include a certified nurse visiting your facility or home to delegate particular tasks to your caregivers. These are scheduled, in-person visits where we provide nurse delegation services. Additional information is required for this service.

  • The Nurse Delegation Program, under Washington State law, allows nursing assistants and home care aides working in certain settings to perform certain tasks--such as administration of prescription medications or blood glucose testing--normally performed only by licensed nurses.

  • The Nurse Delegation Special Focus on Diabetes Training allows nursing assistants and home care aides working in certain settings to accept and perform nurse delegated tasks such as the administration insulin and blood glucose testing.

    This introductory course trains new employees working in long-term care settings the necessary skills required to provide quality care and support services. These services are essential to the health, continued independence, and well-being of the clients in your care.

    As a long-term care worker, it is common to encounter challenging behaviors from clients. This training course aims to provide guidance on how to effectively manage and navigate these situations, with a focus on addressing behaviors that may range from negative to threatening or dangerous.

    This course is a very practical and basic class in caregiving. Training covers the core competencies that describe the behavior, knowledge, and skills outlined for basic caregiver training in WAC 388-112A-0320.

    This course was developed for caregivers who provide care and services to adults affected by a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This course will help you better understand and work effectively with adults with TBI.

  • This course is a DSHS approved online Instructor led training for caregivers, resident managers, and providers. Students will learn dementia basics, delusions/hallucinations, working with families & more.

  • This course is a DSHS approved online Instructor led training for caregivers, resident managers, and providers in long term care settings. Students will learn about common mental disorders, trauma informed care, supports for care & more.
